Field Sales Assistant / Merchandiser

Job Description

JDE is looking for a committed field sales assistant/merchandiser to ensure quality JDE products are always available to be purchased by the shopper in South Auckland (Pukekohe and Waluku), NZ. You will be responsible for:

  • Merchandise and build displays: Fill shelves and build and fill off location displays to a specified store planogram and layouts as advised by a Field Sales Specialist.
  • Store Liaison: Liaise with appropriate store staff to ensure adequate stock is always available to merchandise shelves/displays.
  • Stock Rotation: All stock is to be rotated and products with low shelf life reported to your manager.
  • Store Compliance: Complete compliance checks - products have correct shelf tickets and/or promo tickets and are in correct flow on the shelf.

For this role as a Field Sales Assistant / Merchandiser, you will work 11 hours per week spread across Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

You may be requested to work more hours in case of special events such as relays, for which you will of course be compensated.

The successful candidate will have: 

  • Proven experience within a similar merchandising role
  • Able to work autonomously while following processes in place
  • Ability to start after 10PM, or early mornings, with flexibility to work additional hours if required 
  • NZ working rights, a valid drivers license and a car at your disposal
  • This job is a perfect part time side job, easy to combine with studies or another job!
