JDE Professional runs on a modern global technology ecosystem. The DevOps teams operating the ecosystem have a blend of business and IT expertise. The Global Solution Architect is responsible for the IT solutions for the Quote-to-Cash (QtC) processes, working with the two QtC agile teams. These teams operate Salesforce, Apttus (Conga) CPQ, Apttus CLM and other technologies.

As the Solution Architect, you define and communicate a shared technical and architectural vision for IT solutions to help ensure they are fit for their intended purpose, and you oversee the global solution template throughout the software development lifecycle. You are accountable for continuous improvement of the global Apttus template, covering Configure-Price-Quote (CPQ), Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), Order & Billing Management processes. In this role, you will interact through a scaled agile structure with business process owners, senior commercial stakeholders, technology providers and other JDE IT and Business teams.

You will be responsible for:

  • Enabling the future objectives for the Quote-To-Cash business process. Driving end-to-end solution architecture, ensuring IT solutions are fit for purpose through business partnering and defining the technology roadmap.
  • Delivering strong and repeatable delivery capabilities for our Apttus technology solutions. Providing oversight & approval on the software development lifecycle: build, deployment and maintenance, incl. support on complex issues.
  • Ensuring operational excellence – creating the best cost for value delivered.
  • Advising business counterparts on how to further develop our solutions to best support JDE requirements. Providing solution recommendations, template custodianship, change management and user adoption.
  • Realize delivery of all strategic & tactical initiatives incl. agile leadership where necessary.
  • Maintaining our agility to easily upgrade, integrate and maintain our systems.
